Frequently Asked Questions

Do we pay a deposit?

With restrictions easing around Covid, we are now asking for a 20% deposit for our 2023 bookings. Importantly, if an individual or group cannot attend due to Covid-19 then they will have their deposit returned.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept BACS, PayPal and cheque.

What time can we arrive?

We are very flexible with your arrival time, however most groups join us as early as 11am on their first day. This gives your group time to settle in, choose beds and have a packed lunch before the first activity begins.

Who can attend?

Children from 8 to 13 years old can attend a residential adventure holiday at the Scottish Adventure School. We welcome youth groups and Primary schools from all over the UK.

What is your cancellation policy?

Upon receiving the Booking Confirmation, the group is asked to pay the deposit within 28 days, and has the same 28 days to withdraw their booking. If the booking is cancelled after this 28 day window then the deposit is non-refundable.

What time do we have to depart?

This is dependent on your group's itinerary. For those who have no morning activities depart around 10am. For those squeezing in a morning activity, they depart at 1pm after a packed lunch on the lawn.

What do we need to bring?

We have created a printable kit list that many of our groups have found very useful! Extra socks and spare shoes are always a beneficial, and don't forget to pack some bedding (single duvet cover, sheets and pillowcase) for the bunk beds!
